Battle Brother

An adult that survived the surgery and passed all the tests. The lowest rank of Astartes but many have died not even making it this far. They wear the standard colours of their chapters.

They are each given a human lover. The gender of wich is the marines preference. The human may leave if they are not happy in the relationship. If the partner left simply because they weren't happy anymore, the marine will be given a new 1. If the lover left because the marine was abusive, the marine will be executed.

The Battle Brother will be given a role depending on what the chapter needs more of. Close ranged expert, long ranged expert, vehicle expert, ect. They will then be assigned to a company between 6th and 9th. Each company has 100 members but the battle brother will be put in a squad with 9 other battle brothers led by a sergeant. Their job will be to assist companies between 2nd and 5th.

During their time in these lower numbered companies, their duties will be to train to become experts of their assigned neche and to provide background support. However they may be moved to the front line's during times of crisis.

Once they have shown they are experts at their neiche, they will be moved to companies between 2nd and 5th. They will then be in the front line's during time of crisis or not.

Once veteran's of combat, a battle brother may be invited to join the first company. The first company contains the strongest Marin's of the chapter and are sent as reanforments to squads in peral.
