Bathe, work and hunt

When Ahsoka woke up, it was still dark outside. Expected from a planet that's bathed in an eternal night. When she inhaled through her nose, she found out that she smelled. 'Well, I didn't really get to clean myself after the crash.' Deciding that it would be a bad idea to go outside while smelling like this, Ahsoka stripped down and put her clothes in one of the hot springs. Dipping her toe in another hot spring, and finding that it was an ideal temperature, Ahsoka stepped in and started to bathe.

After swimming around for a few minutes, Ahsoka started to float around 'This is actually really relaxing, they should put one of these in the Jedi Temple. **** knows people need to take the edge off now more then ever with the war.' At the thought of the war, her good feeling vanished faster then a chunk of ice on Mustafar. All those people suffering, people that she could not help while stuck on this planet. 'Hmm, this planet does need a name. What abooout Nightstorm? Yea, that could work!' Giggling, Ahsoka talked in her most official-like voice. "I now officially name this planet Nightstorm!" After her giggles subsided, Ahsoka started to think about her master. 'I wonder what Skyguy's doing. He's probably yelling at the Council to find me, assuming that he didn't just go rouge and go into the Unknown Regions himself.'

After she cleaned herself, Ahsoka climbed out of the hot spring and took her clothes out of the other hot spring. With her clothes still being wet, she decided that it would just be easier to lay them on the rocks to dry. Thankfully, that should not take long due to the natural heat of this planet.

Grabbing her lightsabers, Ahsoka started to cut away the stalactites and stalagmites to clear some room, and to make her den less dangerous. It wouldn't do to survive on Nightstorm if she'd just get impaled by a rock while she's asleep, now would it? She also connected a thermal generator to one of the hotter hot springs, and connected it with a charger for the batteries of her lightsabers. Sure, they could last a while without charge, but she didn't know how long it would take for her to get rescued.

When she was finished, Ahsoka headed back to her clothes, which were thankfully dry now. After redressing, Ahsoka went out of the cave and towards the wreckage of her fighter in order to scavenge some things she would need down the line. When she came to the fighter, she saw that the fire had burned up, so it was unlikely that there would be any further danger. Getting a few ideas already, Ahsoka grabbed some smaller pieces of scrap metal which she could reform with her lightsabers in order to create knives. And while she could easily use her lightsabers instead of knives, she knew that when it came to survival, she would have to stack the deck in her favor as much as she could. Besides, using a lightsaber to cut up meat is just a terrible idea. Burned meat tastes awful. She also found a cable that she could use to dry her clothes on, and also found a few lamps that she could connect with the generator. She also found scraps of cloth that, while unusable for actual clothing, could be used as towels or bandages.

Having scavenged her haul, Ahsoka went back to her den with all her loot. When she came back to her den, Ahsoka started putting everything to use. First, she put the bigger scraps of cloth in what she was calling her bathing room, intending to use them as towels. Next, she hanged up the cable between two walls using the spike gun. After that, she started hanging up the lamps and connected them to the generator, which in turn was connected to one of the hotter hot springs. Then, she put the smaller scraps of cloth around easily accessible areas in her den, intending to use them as bandages during emergencies. She also tied some of them on herself, in case she gets hurt away from her den. Finally, she used her shoto to carve the scrap metal into knives, most of which she put in the area she would use as a kitchen. She also put some of the other knives on her belt, right next to her lightsabers.

After having worked on her den, Ahsoka headed out to hunt. Being a carnivore, she couldn't just eat the plants on Nightstorm. Reaching into the ****, Ahsoka started looking for prey that had enough meat to sustain her. Finding her target, she headed towards it, silently jumping from tree to tree. When she reached her target, she stopped and looked at it while using her scanner to see if it was safe to eat.

The creature she was looking at was a six-legged creature that was about the size of a Human, but instead of walking on its hind legs it walked on all six legs. The creature had no eyes, and instead of a mouth and nose it had some kind of trunk with multiple tendril like tongues sticking out of it, which the herbivore used to eat the leaves of a tree. It also possessed an exoskeleton, and long spikes on its back that seemed to be made of bone. It also had three spiked tails that, according to the readings, possessed a venom that would paralyze most lifeforms on this planet. Thankfully, due to the small amount of diseases, beings on this planet had a weak immune system. Therefore, the venom, while potent on animals from Nightstorm, was a lot weaker compared to animals from other worlds. Analyzing it, the venom seemed to be useless when used against a Togruta, or any being with a decent immune system for that matter.

'Hmm, it needs a name... Maybe a Spiked Longsnout?' Deciding to end her hunt, she jumped at the Longsnout, activated her lightsaber and stabbed it through its brain. This both killed it before it could even process the danger or pain it was in, and prevented the blood from going out of the body. That would make sure that predators couldn't follow the scent of blood back to her. Sure, there was the scent of burned meat, but that's actually common on a planet with constant thunderstorms. Then, hauling her kill back to her den, Ahsoka started to think. While she felt bad for any offspring it could have, she knew it was just a matter of time before she needed to kill something on Nightstorm. That's just how life works for a carnivore in the wild. 'Sure, I got the protein bars that will last longer then I will, but if I only eat those I will be out of them in a month. Best save them for emergencies.'

Having gotten back to her den and putting her kill in the kitchen, Ahsoka started preparing her meal. Using her knives, she started pulling the Longsnout's body apart. The poisonous spikes on its tails would be excellent blow darts, and even if she accidentally pricked herself on one of them, her more powerful immune system would make sure that she would not be paralyzed from it. After that, she pulled the exoskeleton apart. While it would be difficult for anyone without tools, her knives made it easier for her to do so. After having taken the exoskeleton off, Ahsoka started to eat the raw meat from the Longsnout. Unlike Humans, Togruta could easily eat raw meat. In fact, Ahsoka herself preferred raw meat over cooked meat.

When she had enough, Ahsoka put the rest of the Longsnout's body in another part of the kitchen. Because of the little amount of bacteria on Nightstorm, it should take a long time for the body to decompose. And if it went bad before she could eat the edible parts, she could always throw the body back out into the wild.

Looking at herself, Ahsoka saw that the upper half of her body was covered in the blood of the Longsnout. Knowing that the scent of blood wouldn't get out of the cave due to the lack of wind and the overpowering scent of steam, Ahsoka wasn't worried about predators. However, she did need to take another bath to make sure she would be safe outside. So, Ahsoka went back to the bathing room, stripped down and put her clothes in one of the hot springs, and dived into another.

After having cleaned herself, she stepped out of the hot spring, got her clothes and hung them on the cable. Then, naked as the day she was born, Ahsoka headed to her sleeping bag and fell asleep.
