Batgirl Betrayed

Batgirl began to shiver as the night grew colder. She'd been waiting for Batman on the roof of Police Headquarters for only a few minutes, but every minute felt like it stretched into hours. Thanks to the Siren's mind controlling voice, every cop in Gotham was looking for her.

"Batman's probably right," Batgirl thought. "Hiding here is so crazy, that it's probably the last place they'd think to look. I should be safe at least until -"

Her train of thought was derailed as the door to the roof burst open, and police officers began rushing onto the roof, guns drawn.

"Give it up, Batgirl!" called a female officer's voice. "We know you're up here!"

"Damn," thought Batgirl. "How'd they find me? I can't fight all of them."

Batgirl slowly raised her arms and moved out of the shadows.

"I'm here, but let me explain!" Batgirl called to the officers.

Policewoman Mooney raised her gun to Batgirl.

"No sudden moves, Batgirl!" She slowly moved towards Batgirl.

"Please Officer Mooney, it's Lorelei Circe, the Siren! She's back, and she's got the Commissioner and Robin under her control! Just wait for Batman to get here, he'll vouch for me!'

"Batman's the one who tipped us off," said Mooney as she took out her handcuffs and continued towards Batgirl.

"No… she must have got to him too! Please Officer Mooney, you've got to believe me!"

Mooney hesitated. "We're just following orders, Batgirl. How can we know you're telling the truth?"

Batgirl's mind raced. "Proof… I hate to do this… but it's all I have," she thought.

"Go downstairs to the Commissioner's office, you'll find him ****, but before his nap he was… pleasuring himself to the Siren. You'll find her photos on the closed circuit television. That proves he's under her spell."

Mooney frowned. "Gross. O'Rourke, Goldberg - go check out Gordon's office."

"You can't really believe that Mooney, she's obviously bluffing!" said O'Rourke.

"It's easy enough to find out if she's telling the truth, get down to Gordon's office! We'll hold her here." snapped Mooney, still with her weapon trained on Batgirl.

O'Rourke hesitated, before pointing his gun at Mooney. The other officers followed suit.

"We only take orders from one woman, Mooney. The Siren wants Batgirl. Drop your weapon, now."

Batgirl noticed rage filling Mooney's face.

"Don't do anything drastic, Mooney. We don't know for sure how many other officers are under Siren's control," Batgirl said.

"Ugh, men. I guess you're right, Batgirl."

Mooney dropped her gun, and a few seconds later, the men had the two women cuffed to a railing.

"Sorry about this, Batgirl," said Mooney. "I shouldn't have ever believed that you'd turn to crime. We girls have to stick together!"

"You're right about that, Mooney," said Batgirl, before lowering her voice to a whisper. "Don't worry, I have a plan."

Meanwhile, an enraptured Batman was arm in arm with the Siren, giving her a tour of the Batcave. The Siren was in awe of all of the specialized scientific equipment, and eagerly listened to Batman explaining how he used it to fight crime. Melody and Harmony followed behind Siren, looking extremely bored. Nightwing followed silently behind the henchwomen.

"Why are we down here, Siren?" asked Harmony. "You just hypnotized Bruce Wayne, we should be drinking champagne in his jacuzzi or whatever, not getting a science lesson!"

"Yeah, why do you care about any of this computer junk? I wanna have some fun!"

said Melody, as she leaned her body back into Nightwing, running her hands over his muscles.

Lorelei rolled her eyes. "Patience, my nefarious nymphs. The Batcave is key to the next phase of my plan. You see, Batman has a very special task to perform for me."

"Whatever you desire, Siren," said Batman with a loving smile.

"Good boy," cooed the seductive brunette. "You see, I only have one weakness, a weakness that presented itself the very first time I encountered Batgirl: my voice doesn't work on women. You're going to use your Batcomputer and everything else at your disposal to come up with a way to change that - some sort of device to enhance my sonic spells."

"Of course, I can get started right away," said Batman. Siren ran her hands over his chest before placing a light kiss on lips.

"So obedient," Siren said, staring into Batman's eyes. "Succeed, and you'll be getting a most pleasant reward." said Siren. Batman attempted to kiss her again, but Siren leaned away and put her hand on his lips.

"Ah ah, you have work to do. There will be time for more once I have Batgirl in my power. Don't worry Batman, you're going to be serving me for a long time. Forever, in fact!"

Batman nodded, and got to work on the Batcomputer.

Melody and Harmony glanced nervously at each other.

"Controlling women is a g-great idea, boss!" said Harmony.

"Yeah, it's the best idea. Brilliant! Amazing! You're so smart, Siren!" said Melody.

The Siren grinned at their apprehension. "Not to worry my dears, I'll only be using my new powers on those who stand in my way. Your free will shall remain your own - unless you decide to cross me."

"Wouldn't dream of it!" said Melody.

"Definitely not!" echoed Harmony.

"Good. Now, I believe someone mentioned a jacuzzi? How about we-"

Just then, the red phone in the Batcave lit up. Siren turned to Batman.

"Answer it, dear."

Batman picked up the phone.

"It's the Commissioner," Batman said to his mistress. She smiled, and took the phone.

"Jimmy, I hope you have good news for me."

"Wonderful news, oh beautiful Siren. We've captured Batgirl. What should we do with her?"

"Nothing, just make sure she doesn't escape. Batman and I will collect her ourselves."

"I can't wait to see you Siren, I was hoping I could -"

Siren hung up.

"There's been a change of plans, Batman We're off to Police Headquarters. I'm sure all the men there will be very pleased to see us."
