Bat

Well, "Walk" Isn't exactly the right word to describe this creature's method of locomotion. To be more exact, you had originally spotted it amidst the trees by the glint of light shining off of something rubber. You feel a chill, though try your best to ignore whatever it was. This was a task that was becoming increasingly difficult, however, and you could hear the branches rustling as whatever it was that wasn't there moved between the limbs, knocking a few of the leaves loose.

You feel your pulse-pounding, unable to shake the feeling of unease settling over you, starting to move into a jog before finally settling into a run, panting for breath. The sounds drew ever closer, however... You can feel it watching you, tracking you... You run until your legs give out, finally collapsing near the base of a large tree after the sounds have stopped for several minutes.

You catch your breath, already feeling a bit silly. It must have just been a normal animal... Right? To make matters worse, now you were lost. As you start to get up a loud noise catches your attention, making your blood freeze. In front of you, a dark shape drops from the canopy above, coated in shimmering rubber and spreading its wings. It was one of the creatures.
