Bars and restaurants.

You pass between the large city parking garage and the stores in the plaza. Choosing to hug along the side of the parking garage to keep under cover and to break line of sight with the parking garage its self and the mall. Anyone could be up there in a hundred different places and you would never see them. Walking out in the open was just something you didn't do when in the city.

You make your way into a small breakfast diner. Typical with most buildings some of the windows were broken out. It didn't take long before you moved on. Grabbing only a handful of silverware. Metal and anything sharp was good for a lot of things. Cutting or poking holes in things. It was something. Then again onto the next, and next. A few restaurants and bars all having little to nothing. One you enter you could tell right away someone was staying or recently had been staying here. It was somewhat clean as if things had been wiped down and given some care. There were clean dishes the faint smell of smoke was still in the air. You make your way out the back of the building and that's when you hear noises. And they are close.

You press up against the fence and calmly wait and listen. Animals were common even in the cities now. With little to no population they were free to roam and even make it their home. But these sounds were more of rustles. Banging then something being knocked to the floor followed by voices and arguing. From where you are you could only lean out and look to the lounge and bar where the sounds were coming from.
