Chapter 5 by outa outa

What to do?

Bargain with yourself

What would be the harm in at least trying to stay? You could always cut and run later right? Wait could you? It had never actually occurred to you if the treatment was reversible. The main uses it was tested on were things like curing cancers, not really the thing people are very interested in hitting an undo button on. You could certainly run the same process again in reverse, but people were never exact representations of their genes. Life is messy and the environment plays its role on development. Even fingerprints weren't entirely genetic. You could return to the body of a twin but if you did this you'd never have your body again.

You walk over to a mirror and look yourself over. Would you really even want it back? If you were going to start a new life anyways this wasn't exactly the body you'd choose if you could be anything. Alice's comment about your poor endowment echos in your head.

As you looked over yourself you're becoming more and more convinced that either way you should undergo some changes. And if you were going to change yourself anyways...

You spend a while just looking at yourself noting all thing things you'd change about yourself. Years of stress and little exercise have left you weak, pudgy and you'd always been short and scrawny. As you consider improvements like height and muscles you can't shake the part of you that screams that you're thinking of the wrong type of improvements. That you really want to be more feminine, not less.

Before you know it it's already 8pm, if you're going to leave you really need to do so soon.

Do you leave?
