Penny

I crawled out of the debris, and to my dismay, the path back was completely blocked. The house was quickly catching on fire, and I wouldn't have enough time to make it across before I burned.

"Yas! Are you okay?!" I called, worried about what happened to my friend. I began coughing from the dust, bending down and hacking to clear my lungs.

"I'm fine! You good?!" She answered, and I breathed a sigh of relief. Both because she was okay and because my lungs weren't full of dust anymore.

"Yeah, I'm fine. How are you gonna get out?" My memory was still fuzzy, but I remembered one thing, that there was only one way out. How was she going to escape?

"This is my town, I know it like the back of my hand. I'll find another way out. You follow the directions I gave you!" She answered confidently.

"Alright, stay safe!" I called back, and started to walk down the alley. I clutched my side, my armor dented and scarred from all the impacts. My shirt was torn, missing one sleeve, and the midriff was tattered up to where my armor was. I stumbled forwards, leaning on the worn and rotting wood walls for support as I slowly made my way to the crossroads. I stared at my two choices, mind completely blank as I tried to recall what Yas had told me. Left or right?

Game time! Pick the correct choice each time, and Penny escapes. Escape before time runs out!

Turns out making a game is a pain, because later choices have like 4 branches each, which then go into 4 more branches. Every step forward has at least 3 steps sideways too. Why do I do this to myself?
