Barbara's Surprise

Birthday parties were never really Barabra Gordon's thing, let alone planning them. However, as Dick Grayson's birthday came into season, she knew she had to do something special for her boyfriend.

So there she was, sitting in a small dark space wearing nothing but her cowl and a goofy yellow belt she bought from a costume shop. She felt silly, but knew Dick would appreciate her theming. After all, who wouldn't want to see a naked Batgirl jump out of their birthday cake?

She had given instructions to move the cake, with her inside, to a private venue that she rented for the night. There, Dick would be waiting for her alone, and hopefully get the surprise of his life.

Suddenly, Barbara felt her surroundings shift. The cake was moving!

Quietly she waited inside the enclosed space, trying to maintain her silence as the anxiety built within her. She had been in situations a hundred times more intense than this, but still, her heart was racing.

"What if Dick doesn't like it…" she thought to herself, "What if it's too cheesy? Oh no, I'm gonna ruin his special day with this stupid idea!"

Her mind spiraled from one bad situation to another, then she felt her surroundings come to a halt. She arrived at her destination.

Barbara took a breath and began collecting herself.

"Why am I so worked up," she pondered, "I've known Dick for years and he loves me as much as I love him. I'm certain this night is gonna go perfectly!"

Suddenly bursting with confidence, Barbara launched herself upwards through the cake. Arms outstretched, she announced herself.

"Surpri-uh-oh!"

It took her eyes a second to adjust to the light, but she could immediately tell there was a crowd of people surrounding the cake with their attention pointed squarely at her. Cheeks burning, the heroine quickly covered her breasts and crotch from the onlooking crowd.

"Whoa! Is that Batgirl?!" one of them cried out.

"Looks more like Breast-Girl, Hahahaha!!!!"

"It seems this party just got a whole lot more interesting…"

As they made their comments, Barbara's eyes finally adjusted to the light and she was shocked by what she saw. Not only had she been taken to the wrong location, but she was surrounded by a cavalcade of criminals. Bane, Scarecrow, Two-Face, The Joker, it seemed every criminal with a reserved cell at Arkham was here gawking at her.

Of the many in the crowd, one man stepped forward.

"What have we here?" The penguin smirked, rubbing his chin as he ogled the hapless heroine, "It seems this year I got my birthday wish!"
