Bar the door

You quickly rush over to the massive main door mechanisms and find it suprisingly easy to lock the entry to the main room. You know that you don't have long before the dragon is back from his hunt as you look to the other items in the room and cringe when you hear the upper door to the princess' room open.

You look up to see her looking back down at you.

Do you go up to speak with her, call to her from the ground, ignore her for the treasure, ignore her to place a trap for the dragon, or something else?
