Chapter 55 by Levantin Levantin

The document was done. On the desk lay the freshly printed stack of Emma’s geography assignment—neatly structured, typed, tucked into a clean plastic sleeve. I had spent three hours hunched over it, the resin cage chafing with every shift on the office chair.

It was just before midnight when my phone vibrated against the wood. A short text from Loona:

*Come over. Bathroom.*

My stomach twisted tight. Standing up, I ran an unsteady hand over my face and walked down the darkened hallway.

The master bathroom was bathed in harsh, sterile halogen light. Loona leaned against the double vanity, smartphone in hand, already in her silk pajamas. The wide expanse of mirror behind her reflected every angle of the room without mercy.

“Leave the door cracked,” she said without looking up. Slipping her phone away, she folded her arms over her chest. “Strip down. Completely from the waist.”

I swallowed dryly. The stark glare stung my eyes. With trembling fingers, I undone the drawstring of my gray sweatpants, slid them down alongside my boxers, and stepped out.

In the vast mirror, nothing remained hidden: the pale skin, the tension knotted in my shoulders, and the rigid, milky-white plastic housing encasing my cock and balls. The skin around the base ring was raw, a dark pressure mark already forming along the underside.

“Step closer to the mirror,” she instructed calmly. “Hands behind your back. Stand up straight.”

Taking two steps forward, I stopped directly before her. Loona tilted forward slightly, inspecting the area with the cool, detached precision of a physician. Yet in her dark eyes flickered that unyielding glint betraying just how thoroughly she relished the moment.

“Just as I thought,” she murmured softly. Her fingers, still cool from the night air, took hold around the lower edge of the ring without warning. I flinched as a sharp ache ripped through the inflamed skin.

“Stay still,” she corrected with quiet, uncompromising firmness. With practiced movements, she gave the housing a minimal twist to the left, then to the right, tracing the narrow gap between flesh and synthetic frame. “You pushed yourself hard today, sweetheart. Your body spent all day straining against the resin.”

Her fingertips smoothed across the swollen tissue at the base. The touch was pure torment and a perverse, intoxicating relief all at once. My breathing turned shallow. In the mirror, I could watch her hand holding my prison while I stood fully exposed and entirely helpless before her.

“Was it Emma?” she asked casually, testing the small locking pin for a secure fit. “Or was it the feeling of buying her breakfast like a good little lapdog?”

“I… I don't know…,” I managed to choke out.

Loona lifted her head, caught my gaze dead-on in the mirror, and offered a cool smile. “Don't lie to me, John. Your heart rate on the watch stayed elevated all afternoon. You walked around half-hard, ramming yourself against those walls all day long. And that’s exactly what it looks like down here.”

Reaching into the mirrored cabinet, she pulled out a tube of medical soothing balm and pressed a small dollop onto her fingertips.

“Don't move.”

In circular, remarkably gentle strokes, she began working the gel into the irritated skin circling the ring. The cool ointment stung for a split second before a deep, almost numbing relief set in. Her hands moved steadily and quietly. Every deliberate touch reinforced my total lack of control, yet embedded in that very care was the one thing I had craved all day: her undivided attention.

“The lock is holding,” she noted quietly, drying her hands on a towel and checking over her work once more under the light. “No cracks. It’ll fit just as tight tomorrow.”

Turning around, she switched off the harsh overhead downlights. Suddenly the room was cast in only the soft, warm glow of the small strip above the mirror. The sharp edge in the air seemed to dissolve instantly.

“Pull your pants back up,” she said, her voice dropping every trace of bite.

I pulled them up hurriedly, grateful for the soft cotton resting over the cooled skin. When I looked up, Loona had not moved. She was still leaning against the basin, studying me with soft, reflective eyes.

“Come here,” she whispered, opening her arms slightly.

I hesitated for a second, caught off balance by the sudden shift, before taking a hesitant step forward. Before thought could catch up, her arms wrapped around my neck, drawing me firmly against her.

The scent of vanilla and clean soap enveloped me entirely. My head sank into the crook of her shoulder by instinct, and the weight of the last twelve hours—the humiliation on the schoolyard, the drained allowance, the burning plastic—slid off my back like lead. Her hands moved slowly through my hair, gently tracing my scalp before smoothing down the tension along my shoulders.

“Easy, John,” she breathed into my ear, her body heat soaking straight through my sweater. “Just breathe. I saw how good you were today. You did everything exactly the way I told you to.”

I closed my eyes, fingers clutching into the silk covering her back. A long, shuddering breath broke from my ribs. For these fleeting seconds, I didn't feel like a broken toy or a cheap errand boy. I felt shielded. Wanted. Anchored in the arms of the only person capable of anchoring me amid the chaos.

She pressed a slow, tender kiss against my temple, holding me tight through several heavy thumps of my racing heart, before gently easing away to cup both of my cheeks in her palms. Across her lips rested a genuine, affectionate smile.

“You’re doing so well, sweetheart. I take care of you, remember? As long as you stay with me, nothing can touch you.”

Her thumb traced lightly over my bottom lip, then let go as she switched off the remaining light.

“Now off to bed with you. Sleep tight.”

I made my way back down the dark hallway to my room, slipping under the blanket with the ghost of her touch still warm against my skin. The resin still pressed firmly against my pelvis, but the suffocating despair had given way to a deep, surrendered calm. As long as she held me like that, no price felt too high to pay.
