Bail or Fail?

The girls soon arrived one by one with Zoe being first, followed by Megan, then Ruth, and lastly Latasha. The girls got all settled while Ashley went and retrieved a mailbox and put it on the coffee table before unveiling its contents. Inside there was a box that looked like it was a tester or etsy style packaging as it barely had any design much less any trademarking but once the lid was off.

"Bail or fail what kind of game is this?"Latasha spoke out.

"And what does it mean by a chicken out product?"Megan questioned.

"I honestly don't know girls I originally grabbed this when looking for props for some of our dnd sessions but the shop owner told me he would give me a good price on this as well. But regardless let's look at the instructions shall we" Ashley calmly said.

"Welcome to a world of life changing opportunities, embark on a journey as you and your friends discover new truths about yourselves as you cross this realm of magic, this first step is to choose your shape then you roll a d6 once each turn to figure out your location. Red tiles will test your mental state as you cross the Magma Fields of Memory. Yellow tiles will test your face/head as you deal with the pressures of the Desert Cities of Mirrovain. Blue tiles will test your wardrobe as you swim across the Dripping Seas. Green tiles will test you body as you embrace the Jungles of Judgement. Black tiles test your constitution as you face an event and roll a d10 to see if the gods grant you favor or if the devils punish you. Pink tiles which you enter with a 6 grant pleasurable treasure which a d20 is rolled to determine what you get, one could get so lucky as to unlock the grand vault. Gold tiles unlock the grand vault said to hold many riches but can also distract from the real prize. Grey leads to the fight with dragonlord Drochamere who is said to be the one behind the perverse magic as he guards the orange tile. And lastly we have the orange tile which holds the Wishing orb or Agceptz, which the first one who gets to it will be the winner and gets one wish with no limitations other than wishing for more wishes." Ashley finished reading as she grabbed a nearby inhaler to catch her breath.

"So it's like some weird dnd themed candyland game where the ultimate prize is a wish spell, count me in" Megan said suddenly intrigued even though she knew the wish was not real.

"Fine Lets begin shall we I almost fell asleep with your reading of the instructions" Latasha said as she chose the lightning bolt.

"Yes I will choose the heart next then"Ruth said

"I will choose the star" Ashley said

"I choose the diamond" Megan said.

"I will choose the pyramid then" Zoe said.

Soon all the girls gathered around and got ready to roll as Latasha grabbed the dice first and went for her roll.

Author's note: To further explain I wanted to take a more unique approach to the whole chicken out concept with more dice rolls and more variations of how it works.

Black tiles now depend on what you roll on them if you roll 2-5 you get a penalty change. if you roll a 1 you get 2 penalties and are considered failing the square which may change morality. If a 6-9 is rolled you pass and get a betterment to your morality. On a roll of 10 the gift is a special boon like an opportunity to change something on you or someone else.

Pink tiles can only be entered by the tile above them and only when a six is rolled to move to the next turn. The key is the nat 20 roll for these squares and they are the only way to get it. Though a ten on a black tile theoretically could put a player at a pink square.

Gold tile act to give money to the one who lands on them but they will have to roll above a 15 on a d20 to reach the next tile or else skip a turn due to temptation to get more money equal to a d100.

Grey tile is a boss fought by rolling d10's at it as it has 80 health. Multiple people can fight it but the one who kills it moves on to the orange tile.

The Orange tile is a race of if someone can beat the monster or overcome the temptation of the vault.

Don't worry their will still be body changes and card poems read but their will be fun rpg stuff too.
