"You're Ashley, right? I'm Jessica, nice to meet you." Jessica hands her hand for a handshake but Ashley ignores her.
"Ashley please be kind..." You try to tell her to calm down.
"What is your relationship with my boyfriend?" You're starting to think she might be a little possessive.
"I'm just a friend, don't misunderstand." Jessica says matter-of-factly.
Ashley looks at her, then looks at you. She's still stuck to your arm but you feel her grip lessen a little.
"Fine, so what were you talking about?" She asks.
"We were talking about the girl who transfered here today." Jessica answer while letting her hand down.
"The asian girl? I heard about her, she's the lonely type right?" She says while looking at Kana sitting alone in a corner.
Jessica looks at you two, seemingly a little shocked.
"What? What's wrong?" Ashley asks innocently.
"I thought you would be the first to know..." You shutter. _Why is she making things more complicated? _Ashley looks at you curiously.
"Is there something I should know about?" Her tone is cold.
"Well, she moved at my place Saturday evening..." You see the shock on her face but she doesn't say anything.
Instead, she lets go of you and move toward Kana. Before you can say anything they're talking and from where you are you can only study their expressions and their general tone of voice. But it doesn't seem like an agreeable conversation.
You wait a minute and before you know it Ashley is back, she sits down and starts eating in silence.
You don't say anything either and you're the first to finish your meal, you flee the tense room.
"See you later." You spend the rest of your free time between classes at the library, just waiting in silence.
First thing first you need to correct Ashley and Benjamin's relationship. You write some drafts of the post you'll put on the forum later tonight. You need something eye-catching, believable, concise, and precise so it spreads quickly without too many changes to the initial rumor.
You have work to do, lots of issues need fixing.
