Wake her up

You decide to wake her up. You're too scared to use her and, after all, she is your mother.

"On the count of 3 you will wake up and forget this ever happened" You command

"Yes..." she agrees mindlessly

You start counting. "1". "2". "3!". And with that she starts to wake up.

"Hmmm?" She says, slowly waking up. "What happened? What time is it?" She asks dazed.

"It's okay mom. You fell asleep" You explain.

"Oh sorry honey. Did I fall asleep whilst you was talking?" She asks almost worried.

"No. It's okay" You explain.

Your mom gets up and goes downstairs into the kitchen. That was your one chance to use her and you messed it up. After that day, for some reason, she wouldn't let you hypnotize her again. Maybe you should have thought about your options more carefully.
