Bad day to have black hair...

Standing topless in front of the camera, Samantha wanted nothing more than for this embarrassing ordeal to get over with so she could get her ID and put her clothes back on. Her jittering increased as the camera lady twisted the camera lens around but started shaking her head.

"Yeah, no, I'm sorry...." the camerawoman said, "it's your hair. It's too black, also making everything too white."

"You're kidding me?!" Samantha said in disbelief. "Surely you have a lot of people with black hair."

"Like I said, ma'am," the woman snapped back, "this is a new system, it's just not ready for your hair."

"Well, do you have a hat or something for me?"

"I'm afraid we don't allow hats, glasses, or face coverings in ID pictures. You'll have to get rid of that hair or change it. I think we have some scissors and clippers here, or there's a place across the street that can dye your hair for you."

Samantha considered what to do.
