Bad Robot

Xander stopped in his tracks and slapped a hand over his face. "Shit."

It suddenly occurred to him why Buffy was being distant versus angry recently. She was acting like she didnt know him at all. Like he didnt exist to her. And the reason for the shift from active antagonizment was probably because in this time line her mom was still dating Ted, the evil robot, who used mind control **** to make himself a Leave it to Beaver sitcom perfect family.

"Fucking mind control robot serial killer." He snapped out. They'd found the remains of four other women in Ted's basement dungeon the last time around. he certainly didnt want Joyce and Buffy joining that group.

So what were his options? He could just offline Ted like Buffy had, beating it until it broke. Or he could try his new magic whammy on the robot and see if magic effected the mechanical. Or... or something.

He at least knew he had time. The imprisoning in the basement dungeon didnt happen until after Ted married his intended. Or at least thats what they'd learned in researching Ted after the fact in the other timeline. He'd get married, the wife would move in and then the wife would disappear soon after. Thankfully, Joyce was still unmarried and living in her house on Revello Dr.

Xander sighed as he realized that Ted being involved meant Buffy wasn't past being a dick to him, with her sudden ignoring him phase these past three weeks. She probably really still had it out for him but was just supressing the negative emotions thanks to the **** and Ted's big happy family brainwashing.

Well, not like it mattered at the moment, saving Buffy and Joyce was more important than his popularity with either of them.
