You leave the apartment

You are standing in the main hallway. The hallway is grimy, though it has always been like that, even before the apocalypse. If anything, it's a little bit cleaner than it used to be. It's eerily quiet and empty. The lights haven't been working for some time now. The power went out a week after the outbreak, however the window at the end provides enough light to see everything clearly.

This floor covers the numbers 15 to 19, your apartment being No.17. You haven't been overly social with the neighbours, but you have had a few pleasant passing conversations with them in the hall. A girl named Susanne lives next door to you at No.16, and you're a little embaressed to admit it, but you have a bit of a crush on her. She got out of collage a year ago, and took it upon herself to rent herself a flat here. She's very pretty and smart, and her smile is probably the loveliest smile out there, able to brighten up even the sourest of sourpusses.

At No.18 lives a guy named Jo. He's not bad looking as guys go, a little chubby sure, but he has nice muscles underneath, and a nice personality to boot. He once left a container of fresh baked cookies at your door! You're pretty sure he's gay as well, though you've never actually seen him with anyone.

No. 15 is the residence of Martha Whithers. She is a bit of a recluse, though that's understandable for someone who has lost their husband. Underneath though she's a sweet lady. Plus she has a rocking hot milf body.

You know little of No.19. There always seems to be a stack of unopened mail in front of it, and it never gets deliveries. There's a faint buzzing noise coming from behind the door.

Of course, there's no guarantee any of these people are still here, or even alive. You could just go downstairs to the lobby, where the entrance is.
