Back to work

In the morning, Jake headed back to work. He knew his new gift (that he was totally thankful for), would have enabled him to live off other means, but he still loved the office environment and he was looking forward to seeing his co-workers today.

His desk had another post it note. Same basic message as yesterday, but a lot more polite. "Could you come and see me when you get a chance? Thanks, Ariel". He suspected she had dithered on whether to add a X at the end and smiled. He got settled in nodded to Victoria and Rachelle across the corridor and then got up and strolled casually towards Ariel's office passing Niamh again. He smiled and went as far as giving her a wink, then almost laughed when he saw her thought bubble.

As she passed, he couldnt help but follow the habit of his working lifetime and pause to watch her ass disappearing down the corridor. It was a hobby of sorts and one that he had never failed in any opportunity to indulge in it. He sighed wistfully and then thought, yeah I am going to get familiar with that ass real soon.

I'll catch up with you later, he thought, but right now I've got to go face the boss.
