Dev saw a multitude of emails piling up on top of the work he had promised Shannon he would do. Satisfied with his exploration of powers (and the firm's women) for the day, he put his head down to work for the rest of the day.

He finished the first draft for Shannon as requested and caught up with her on workload. Dev knew her Resolve was too high for him to Manipulate her, so he remained as professional as possible with her to build maintain his Reputation.

Dev then sat in on a client meeting with her before reaching the end of the day. Having learned a significant amount, Shannon asked him to prepare a memorandum on a section of property law for a client by tomorrow.

By 6pm, some people were starting to head home and, it being Dev's first day, took that as his cue to leave. As he packed up, he saw Rose's panties in his bag and started tucking his laptop over it as quickly as he could.
