"Tell me about yourself, Alana," Chris says to you as you walk out of the supermarket. "How did you end up here?"

"I grew up in this town. Lived most of my life in a house a few blocks from here. I was going to college in New York when the Plague hit, so I came home to be with my family. I watched helplessly as I lost everyone I loved."

"I'm sorry to hear that. That story is unfortunately too common these days. I'm from Massachusetts, myself. We lost our two children and my wife and I couldn't stay in our home anymore. Everywhere we looked, we would think about them. Now we have our group, it's like a second family we all look out for each other."

You make more small talk with Chris and other members of the group. Soon, you arrive at a large building.

"We're here. Time to introduce you to the rest of the group, Alana."
