Back to the hotel

Aurelie suddenly felt tired. The long flight and the the erratic sleep had caught up with her she realised, and she decided to head back to the hotel. She took her time, wandering back up the street and browsing the shops on that side, feeling her body grow more sluggish and in need of rest.

By the time she reached the hotel she was almost asleep on her feet, walking to the elevator like a zombie and taking it up to her floor. She barely had the energy to undress before falling into bed and pulling the covers over herself, her mind sinking into a black and dreamless abyss.
