Back to the hotel*`

By the time you get back to the hotel, you're feeling more tired than angry. Confronting Diane in this state was a bad idea. Not only is she not the least bit sorry for sleeping with your husband behind your back, she wants to **** you so she can keep doing it. Maybe I should just come clean to Dave about everything. That way she doesn't have anything to hold over my head anymore, you think to yourself.

Maybe, but what would that do to Dave? What would that do to your marriage, you ask yourself in your inner dialogue.

What kind of a marriage would I have if I didn't? I can't just be okay with him cheating on me with Diane and God knows who else, can I?

Why not? If he's been cheating on you this whole time, how are things any different now that you know?

I... I guess they aren't really, except now I know he's been just as unfaithful as I am. I suppose I don't have to feel so guilty about it anymore when I cheat on him, do I?

No, there's no reason to feel guilty anymore, but what about jealousy? How are you going to deal with that?

Oh, I'm sure I'll be able to find someone to help take my mind off of it whenever jealousy becomes a problem.

The conversation in your head comes to an end when you walk past the front desk in the lobby and step into the elevator. Suddenly remembering you're locked out of your room, you open your purse and take out Greg's executive suite key out of your purse and smile to yourself.
