Chapter 26 by jw_wjw jw_wjw

Do we follow Mackenzie or Lana now? Does Mackenzie try for the haunted house, or conquer her fear of the Khanda Ka?

Back to the haunted house

Mackenzie wanted to run up to Lana and go on Khanda Ka together, but Lana was quickly retreating from her view and she felt that Lana expected her to get their clothes back somehow. Maybe she could be Lana's knight in shining armor, helping her to get clothed again. But did she really want Lana to get dressed? Already she wanted nothing more than to have another go at that toned body.

Sighing, and feeling like the events of the day left her confused, Mackenzie turned and went to the front of the line to the haunted house. There were a few people who complained about the line cutter, but most people just whipped their phones out and snapped pictures of the lovely redhead covering herself with her arms.

"Excuse me," she told the park employee, "a friend and I lost our belongings in there, can I come in and search for them?"

"Sorry, miss," the staff member told her, "I can't let you cut the line, but if you give me a description of the items I can go in and get them for you."

Crap! How could the naked lady discount not be real? "Umm, there should be a blue dress, heels, and a purse in the dining room, and clothes and other affects in the kitchen."

"Okay, ma'am, I should have those ready for you within a half hour, okay?" the employee retreated into the house and told a colleague to staff the front before Mackenzie could complain.

A half hour?! That was a mighty long time for her to be standing butt naked in front of the crowd. But, Mackenzie did stand there obediently right by the front of the line beyond the rope, as new patrons kept coming into the haunted house and gawking at her, being sure to record her exposure for posterity. It was clear that the other employee was the only one on deck not searching, so Mackenzie couldn't just ask for a blanket or anything to cover herself in the meantime. She really hoped the fact that the house was a lot more crowded than when she first entered didn't make it less likely that their stuff could be found.

Eventually, the original employee was able to come out, and Mackenzie stared at him with great hope.

After a few yards, Lana looked behind her and was happy to see Mackenzie had decided not to follow her. She knew she was right to assume Mackenzie was done for the day after the ordeal, and wouldn't be willing to go on the scariest coaster of the park. Grateful her ruse worked, and hoping that Mackenzie could get her stuff back from the house, Lana covered herself with her arms and sprinted to Khanda Ka. The athletic Amazonian made it in two minutes - painfully aware of the stares and camera flashes - but even she was out of breath when she got to the booth in front and the employee staring at her wide-eyed.

"Hiii," she said sheepishly in between breaths, "I lost my clothes in the haunted house and was hoping you could lend me a blanket or shirt while they try to find them."

"Ummm..." the employee could only stare as Lana retreated to the side of the booth and away from everyone's stares.

Does the haunted house turn up anything? Does the Khanda Ka employee have anything for Lana?
