Back to the estate

Halfway back to the estate, your lungs can take no more and you give up on running and walk the rest of the way. By the time you get back to the estate, you're probably 10 minutes behind Allison, and you don't see any sight of her as you enter the gates. She must have grown impatient of waiting for you and already gone inside.

Still winded, you pause to breathe deeply, a little amazed at how unfit you are. It's still early in the morning and besides the birds chirping, there isn't much noise anywhere. Just as you're feeling ready to make the remainder of the walk back to the house, you notice a shed by the far side of the wall that surrounds Nigel's former estate. You have seen the shed before, thinking it was a normal garden shed for tools and such, but the sliding door is slightly ajar and standing where you are, it's the exact right angle to peer through the tiny gap and into the shed. You don't see any tools, instead it looks empty and clean.

Out of pure curiosity, you wipe the sweat from your brow and approach the shed slowly, unsure of what to expect. When you get close, you notice there's a keypad on the door, cleverly disguised to look like part of it. Why would an empty garden shed require a key pad, you wonder. Without much thought, you place your hand on the handle of the door and pull it to the side.
