Back to the cottage

You stroll back to the cottage, thinking over what you observed and learned at the faculty meeting. Some of the teachers, including the headmistress, are more formidable than you expected, and at least two of the three other men seem to be reasonably observant. While you are cautious by nature, you make a mental note to be even more so in the days ahead.

As you approach your cottage you see the lights on in the ground floor and the curtains pulled shut. Knowing you turned the lights off you approach quietly, wanting to surprise whoever is inside.
