Back to the Bookstore
The two boys exchanged a look and then grinned down at Jasmin. "Yeah," one of them countered, "I think that's exactly what we should do."
Before Jasmin could say any more, she felt a hand on her elbow, yanking her up to her feet, pulling her out of the corridor and across the mall's main area.
Every fiber of her being told Jasmin she should fight, call for security, cause a scene, anything that could get her out of this situation, but somehow she found that she couldn't. She obidently walked with the two boys in silence as they approched the bookstore, her gaze constantly downwards. She couldn't help but glance at her barefeet, wondering mildly why they hadn't walked back past her shoes, but that thought was quickly pushed aside when she thought of Megan. There was a good chance these boys were about to see far more of Megan than they had of her.
Before she knew it they were standing outside the door of the bookstore, one of the boys quickly unlocking the door, somehow managing to find the right key the first time, and the three of them stepped inside as the boy locked the door behind them.
