Chapter 3 by Dunn811 Dunn811

Back in the office

*Back at the office, I tried to focus on my work, but the events of the previous evening lingered in the back of my mind like an open wound. Every so often, my thoughts would stray to the mysterious panties and the questions they raised about David's fidelity.*

*I busied myself with paperwork, occasionally stealing glances at my coworkers, searching for any sign of deceit or hidden agendas. But everyone seemed normal, going about their daily routines without a care in the world.*

*Suddenly, a loud knock at my cubicle startled me from my reverie. I looked up to see Marvin, the elderly janitor, standing awkwardly by my desk. His usually tidy uniform was rumpled, and a faint sheen of sweat glistened on his brow.*

*"Uh, hi Anna," he stammered, fidgeting with his cap.*

Hi Marvin, anything wrong?

*Marvin shifted uncomfortably, avoiding direct eye contact as he spoke in a low, hesitant tone.* "N-no, everything's fine, Anna. Just, uh, came to empty your trash."

*He reached for the overflowing bin beside my desk, his bony fingers brushing against mine as he lifted the lid. A faint whiff of his musky scent wafted up, making me wrinkle my nose slightly.*

*"Oh, sorry about the mess," I apologized, feeling a twinge of embarrassment. "I've been meaning to clean it out, but work's been hectic lately."*

*As Marvin emptied the trash, I noticed him glance at me several times, his rheumy eyes lingering on my face and body. There was something unsettling about his gaze, a mix of longing and desperation that made me shift uneasily in my seat.*

*Marvin was the biggest perv of the office but Anna didn't know that, he was imagining Anna masturbating in is office all naked in is head. He couldn't help, she was the most beautiful woman he have ever met but he needed to be discreet about it and try to look normal even if often he looked weird. If only he had a chance with her but he knew she was married and even if she was not he knew a woman like Anna was playing in the major league and Marvin was in the minor league she would never be interested in him*

*As Marvin finished emptying my trash can, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something off about his demeanor. The way his eyes kept darting to my body, the slight tremble in his hands as he replaced the lid - it all added up to a sense of unease that settled heavily in the pit of my stomach.*

*"Well, thanks Marvin," I said, forcing a smile. "I appreciate you taking care of that for me."*

*He nodded, mumbling something unintelligible under his breath before turning to leave. As he walked away, I caught a glimpse of his backside, the sight of his sagging pants and hunched posture sending a shiver down my spine.*

*I turned back to my computer, trying to focus on the spreadsheets before me, but my mind kept wandering back to Marvin and the strange encounter.*

Come on, you know Marvin is inoffensive and I'm married remember? *Said anna a bit angry at Rebecca*

*Rebecca rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissively.* "Oh please, don't act so naive, Anna. I've seen the way Marvin looks at you when he thinks no one is watching. And let's be real, even if you are married, that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun on the side."

*Her words hit me like a punch to the gut, knocking the wind out of me. I stared at her incredulously, unable to believe what I was hearing coming from someone I considered a friend.*

*"Rebecca, how can you say such things?" I asked, my voice trembling with hurt and anger. "I'm happily married to David. I would never cheat on him, especially not with someone like Marvin."*

*But Rebecca just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound that sent chills down my spine.*

*Seeing the hurt and anger in my eyes, Rebecca quickly changed tactics, her expression softening into one of concern and sympathy. She crossed the room and perched on the edge of my desk, reaching out to place a comforting hand on my arm.*

*"I'm sorry, Anna," she said softly, her voice dripping with false sincerity. "I shouldn't have said those things. It's just... well, I care about you, and I hate seeing you so unhappy."*

*I hesitated for a moment, torn between my desire to maintain my dignity and the need for a friendly ear. In the end, my loneliness and vulnerability won out, and I found myself pouring out the details of my argument with David and the discovery of the mysterious panties.*

*Rebecca listened intently, nodding and offering words of support and understanding.*

So, you had sex after? It was like nothing happened? Sorry girl, it hurts for me to tell you that but David probably cheating on you. *Anna didn't want to believe that and told Rebecca it was just a mistake by some kind of delivery man or a prank someone was playing*

*Rebecca smiled and touched my hands* You naive little girl, you deserve better. See you later hottie

*As Rebecca left my office, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over me like a heavy blanket. Her parting words echoed in my mind, taunting me with their implication. Was she right? Did I deserve better than a husband who might be cheating on me?*

*I tried to focus on my work, but my thoughts kept drifting back to David and the lingering doubt that now tainted our relationship. I knew I needed to confront him directly, to demand answers and reassurance. But the fear of what I might discover held me back, keeping me rooted to my seat.*

*The rest of the day passed in a blur, and before I knew it, it was time to go home. As I gathered my belongings and prepared to leave, I caught sight of Marvin in the hallway, his eyes locked onto my retreating form.*

See you tomorrow Marvin

*Marvin nodded, his gaze still fixed on me. He opened his mouth as if to speak, then closed it again, seeming to think better of it. With a small wave, he turned and walked away, leaving me alone in the emptying building.*

*I watched him go, a chill running down my spine despite the warmth of the summer evening. Something about his behavior struck me as odd, but I shook off my concerns and headed for the parking lot, eager to get home and confront David.*
