Back at the Dorm

After that incident, we decided to head back to the dorm.

Chad told me that he was doing his regular workout when someone from the court came up to him and asked if he’d be willing to sub in since they were short one player. He agreed, and it turns out he was naturally good at the game. The guy was also apparently from the volleyball team, and they suggested he join.

“I’m considering it, everyone says I have a talent for volleyball”

“It looked like that from what I saw”

Chad was sitting in his bed, again in nothing but his boxers- he seemed most comfortable that way.

“Yea, funny story actually, everyone thought you were my girlfriend when they saw you”

“What!!” I screamed.

“Yea, you were pretty far and had your hoodie up, so they assumed you were a girl- my girl to be exact” Chad said while chuckling

“What the fuck- you told them I was a guy right!”

“Actually, I kept on getting bothered by the girls on the sidelines, so I went along with it and said yes. It actually helps me because it cuts down most of the attention - except for the ones that like playing homewrecker” Chad responded, barely holding back laughter.

I got up and started playfully raining down punches on him. Chad was now fully laughing.

All of a sudden his laughter turned into a pained expression, and he grabbed his thigh. I stopped.

“What’s wrong”

“Nothing, I might’ve pulled something in my leg from all the exercise”

I started feeling guilty

“Could it be from saving me while I was squatting”

“Probably not, don’t worry about it, i’ll be fine by tomorrow”

As he was about to move his hand away I grabbed it

“Let me help, it’s the least I could do” I looked at him with pleading eyes. I’d feel terrible if he was in pain because of me. He looked at me for a bit before responding

“Ok, what do you want to do”
