Back at Webco...

Ross and Vera Webster were meeting with each other, seeing the result of the 'evil' kryptonian destroying the oil. Vera looked at the headlines and snarked, "Look likes the little bimbo's plan worked. I guess she's seeing if the Man of Steel lives up to his name."

"Yes, on the last part and her plan, but I think you are mistaken." he said pulling out a book, "I found this in her desk. “Critique of Pure Reason” by Immanuel Kant, one of the Enlightenment central thinkers. Not something a 'bimbo' would be reading. No, I believe our Ms. Ambrosia is much smarter then she seems, smart enough to play dumb."

Vera picked up the book and flipped through it, "So if she's so smart, what do we do? She has Superman under her spell."

Ross placed his hands together in front of him. He answered, "I don't think it changes much. I know from the start she wanted my money, it was obvious. Much like my interests in her. I believe that as long as she money and the ability to indulge in her pleasures, she keep. And if she keeps, so does Superman.

While she's smarter then she seems, she isn't a business person. She doesn't have the skills or connections. The ability to make, and better yet, hide a large sum of money. So in many ways our relationship is the same, exchange of supply with demand. But instead of sex for money, it's power for the ability to make more money.

Still, it looks like I'm in need of a new... whatever. At least someone who looks good in a dress. You'll have to be a little less... you towards her since she is likely to become a major asset to Webco in the future. But next up is Mr. Gorman, and his computer system. Given what he has gotten us so far, I am curious of what else he has up his sleeve.
