Back Home Alone

“I must go as well,” you tell Krystal. She looks disappointed but lets you depart.

Abigail, Spencer, Anissa and Blair are heading back to the school, but home for you doesn’t take you that way. You bid your farewells and head off homeward.

Before you leave the town centre, you pop into the small supermarket there and grab yourself a microwave meal and a 6 pack. 10 minutes later you’re at home, popping the meal into your microwave and opening one of the beers. You drink it while you eat the meal, in front of the TV. There’s remarkably little on the box, so after you’ve eaten you head to your laptop and surf the internet.

You decide to take it upstairs, so you can watch some porn. Upstairs, though, you find the signal poor, and the streaming struggles. Not surprising really. Your mother only dabbled in such things as Wi-Fi, using the internet sparely, and she used her laptop more like a desktop, tending to handle things in one room. For the last year she had moved downstairs and so the signal upstairs was of little importance to her.

You have got a new WI-FI router on order, which should turn up tomorrow, but until then you’re stuck using your mother’s inadequate router. Which means an almost non-existent signal in the bedroom.
