Ayane

Who is essentially the deuteragonist of the series, Ayane is the half sister of her main rival Kasumi, older brother Hayate and cousin of Honoka. Compared to Kasumi, she's much more cynical no thanks to her upbringing being so shit. She's more or less an anti-hero by nature, though she can be antagonistic should she feel the need arises or someone reminds her of her past. Her cynicism led to her become a very strong fighter in her own right, though she also has a tendency to talk down to or mock people. In XVV she was sent to investigate the islands for whatever reason but ended up trying to get a tan instead until the owner wanted her help.
