Awkwardness in the air

Seeing Caroline run out the bathroom, Elizabeth (Marcus) with blushing cheeks sat there on the floor like a blank slate for a few seconds.

Elizabeth (Marcus) then stood up, had a quick shover to wash away the fluids. Awkwardly dried her (his) hair and body with the towel Caroline gave her (him), since Elizabeth (Marcus) didn't know how women dried themself after a shower. She (he) wore the pajama's that laid on the bathroom counter and got out of the bathroom still wet as water dripped down her (his) hair and her (his) pajama almost see-through from soaking on the water.

As Elizabeth (Marcus) entered the living room, she (he) saw Caroline on the couch eating food with her head tilted down and her cheeks still visibly red as she nibbled on the food.

Elizabeth (Marcus) took a seat near Caroline as she (he) picked up her (his) plate and started to eat their food in awkward silence. As the awkwardness of the situation got to Marcus, he tried to clear up the situation. "umm... Caroline, I..." Elizabeth (Marcus) began to speak "you see... ugh... the... the thing was... um..." she (he) stuttered as she (he) spoke, but was unable to come up with any explanation.

Once they finished their dinner Elizabeth (Marcus) once again tried to speak when Caroline said "Ahh, um... it's so stuffy in here, huh... let me get some fresh air" as she placed the cutleries on the table and stormed out of the apartment with an embarrassed look in her face.

Elizabeth (Marcus) also sat there with her cheeks red as she (he) didn't know what to say nor do, Marcus had heard that Caroline had a bit of a sensitive personality from their neighbors once and regretted doing embarrassing things to Elizabet's body which Caroline saw, he thought he might have damaged Caroline and Elizabeth's friendship.

After a few minutes Elizabeth (Marcus) got up and decided to do the dishes. As She (he) was clearing the table and washing the dishes the apartment door opened once more as Caroline entered, she closed the door and immediately ran straight into her bedroom without even glancing a look at Elizabeth.

Once every thing was done Marcus decided to give a shot at explaining things to Caroline once more, she (he) made her (his) way to Caroline's room.
