How will Justice's story begin?
Awesome dry-cleaning!
Awesome dry-cleaning?
"Awesome dry-cleaning!" Justice announced with a nod, having successfully dropped off the the smart suits of the Helltaker and his crew at the local cleaners. That included her own, naturally. Why make multiple trips when you can drop everything off at once? The demon slid her cute caboose onto the motorcycle she'd left idling in the parking lot before speed-running her drop off, now clad in only an American-flag print side-tied bikini she'd been wearing underneath her clothes and the dark shades she was hardly ever seen without. "Mission accomplished. Now, the question: do I ride through the main street so fast no one can see me, or do I take the back roads and ghost through 'em like a ninja? Decisions, decisions..."
Justice didn't think about it long, having a policy of never spending more than three seconds deciding on anything. Instead, she took the noisy bike in a crawl through alleyways, idling to a noiseless stop just before reaching each intersection to check each way and make sure no one was coming. With an abundance of unnecessary care, she slowly made her way through each, completely undetected. She was halfway there, savoring her winning streak and beginning to understand how the Helltaker must have felt managing his energy in his conquests through hell, before she finally came to the stop in the middle of one, pounding her fist into her hand. "Oh damn! That's right, Lucifer's doing early breakfast today. I don't have time for this."
Since she'd stopped in the middle of the road, there was, predictably, a car waiting for her to move so it could cross. Owing to her well-developed bikini bod, of course, the balding man behind the wheel wasn't honking to make her move along. She turned her head to him, then shot him a finger-gun. "Obeying the stop signs, my man? Following traffic laws and yielding to pedestrians is always awesome! Keep up the good work!" She turned her pointing hand into a thumbs-up before gripping it on her bike handle, revving, and shooting forward at a reckless speed even before one took her blindness into account...
The stunned man shook his head and started to proceed through the intersection, almost running into the bike, which had reversed and returned. "Oh yeah! I meant following traffic laws and yielding to pedestrians is awesome if you're not wicked-sick enough to weave around all of 'em at top speed. If you are, try doing that instead. If you're not... Good job!" Justice flashed him a thumbs up behind her well-toned, bikini-clad ass, then sped forward again. She had to get home for...
"Lucifer!" she shouted seeing the other demon standing in the driveway... Not in the middle, which was the scientifically-proven most exciting part of the driveway to stand in, but in the shadows, hiding her body. Justice killed her motor and put the bike in brakes with no wasted movement, then hopped off. "That thing's almost outta gas. Remember to fill it up the next time you ride, m'kay?"
"I will not... That is, I won't be riding it... What I mean is, I won't be leaving the house!" Lucifer growled. As Justice passed the gate, she could see the other demon had a towel wrapped around her, although there were familiar straps of something else over her shoulders...
"You're missin' out! The wind in your hair... The eyes on your body... The thrill of almost wrecking a custom vehicle registered under someone else's name! I can't get enough of it." Justice continued to walk past her friend, aiming for the door. "No need to thank me for the dry-cleaning, by the way. Consider it payment for breakfast services rendered. Now-"
"Hold it, moron!" Lucifer demanded, grabbing her arm. "Thank you?! I should be flaying you alive! What's the big idea, taking not just one, but ALL of my suits while I'm showering?! I had big plans for this morning...!"
"Riiight... Well, me too! And my plan is paying off juuust abooout..." she trailed off, looking at the watch she wasn't wearing, then back into Lucifer's face. "... Now."
"Is your 'plan' to eat a hearty breakfast of zero pancakes?" the demon boss growled. "Because when I got out of the shower and found out my clothes were gone, I wrapped myself up, made my own batch, ate those all myself, then came out here to immediately give you a talking to!"
"Huh... Doing that first part slow synced up our times. Way to go, me! Pretty sweet, right?" she told the man in the doorway, meeting his shades with her own (in spite of her blind eyes).
"Tell this imbecile that seven in the morning is far too early... for... hijinks..." Lucifer trailed off, realizing who was standing there. Her face gradually reddened as she faced him, trying her hardest to equip an even expression.
The Helltaker stood in the doorway, clad in a cooking apron over his own tank and boxer shorts, his eyes unreadable behind his shades and his jaw set, but he turned his head between the two demon beauties... Before looking at his bike.
"You're worried about that? Not a scratch on it, but I didn't stop for gas, of course," Justice told him, buffing her knuckles casually on her own hips. "Not to be rude or inconsiderate, but to grant you the thrill of getting it down to the last drop in the tank before you fill it back up. You're welcome. Seriously, though... You're lucky your bike is so rad, because you're losing some cool points right now."
The man raised an eyebrow.
"Lucifer here got up early to fix you pancakes, bro!" the demon announced, forming a "K" with her hands to indicate the beet-red towel-clad demon. "And while you were sleeping in, you were missing out."
The Helltaker actually did give a small gasp at this, then reset his frown.
Delivering dry-cleaning?
>Early breakfast?
"Yeah, missing out on early breakfast is bad, but it isn't what I'm talking about! After all, I went through all the trouble to set you up..." she trailed off dramatically, before grabbing the towel Lucifer was wearing and unfurling it in a neat motion. "With naked-apron Lucifer! It's a limited-time opportunity!"
Lucifer spun in place briefly before clearing her throat and putting a hand on her hip, trying to fit into as natural and dignified of a pose as she could to hide her obvious embarrassment at appearing in fetish-wife gear in broad daylight. Her cooking apron was conservative enough, but Justice had taken her sharp dress clothes... and those were, basically what she owned. That left her standing in a mature, lacy bra and panty combo.
"Woah, check that out!" Justice put a hand to her chin, looking her friend up and down. "Don't you own a swimsuit, girl? This situation is the exact one swimsuits are handy for. Now, my dude... Tell me what you think.
When's breakfast?
>The swimsuit shows more skin.
"Well, you got me there," Justice admitted, crossing her arms behind her head in a way that thrust her impressive chest outward. "But seriously, stop getting distracted! This is like your bonus scene! The CEO in a naked apron! Drink it in..."
There was an awkward silence, even for Justice, as the Helltaker was clearly more focused on ogling her readily-presented chest than checking out her bashful friend.
"Aaaand you made it weird," Justice told him, grinning in spite of herself. "All right, if you aren't gonna give poor Naked Apron Lucifer the attention she deserves, will you get your butt in there and make some pancakes? You have got some major lost stock to recoup today, champ!"
The brow-beaten man of the house sighed, but turned around to do what needed to be done.
Lucifer sighed, then shuffled in place for a moment, while Justice stood there with that goofball grin plastered on her face. Finally, she broke the silence. "I haven't given up on the idea of flaying you for that incident, but... looking sharp is important, and, I think you were, in your own way, thinking of me... So, I'll give you a while before I act on that impulse... Justice, I'm sure you've realized, and that's why you took your usual thoughtless action, but I'm actually trying to... 'build stock' myself, as of late. That is to say, I'm trying to put in a bit of extra effort to reap extra profits in a particular arena. Do you understand what I'm getting at? I suppose it's hard for me to admit, but... lately I've been trying to-"
"Okay! I've decided I'll take him," Justice suddenly interrupted, placing her hands on her hips.
"... Excuse me?" Lucifer asked, gritting her teeth. At first, she'd thought the outburst meant Justice hadn't been listening. As she thought about it harder, Justice probably had been listening, but was waiting for the perfect shock moment to announce it.
"Well, I thought about it, and we're all kind of free-loading here, right? Least I could do is give the guy a bad-ass trophy girl he can show off when he's riding around town. And then, I can ride his bike even when he's using it! A win for everybody."
"... Is that what you're aspiring to...?" the CEO of Hell asked, running a hand down her face in frustration. "Also, is 'riding his bike' a euphemism...?"
"Not at this time," Justice announced with a grin. "So, if you're serious about what you said, and I assume you are, we're competing now! I don't get real competition very often... Of course, I expect some real competition from you," she told Lucifer, tilting down her shades and facing the demon with her blind eyes.
"Hmph... There's no competition for the elite who stand at the top." Lucifer matched Justice's smile with her own confidence.
"That's the spirit! Elevate the competition! A rising tide lifts all ships!" The carefree demon finally went back outside, leaving her friend there as she headed to the bathroom.
Once inside and alone... she took off her shades, looking in the mirror over the sink with an uncharacteristic pensive frown. The solitude of the bathroom was the only place she would allow herself, just this once, to temporarily be uncool as she spent more than three seconds weighing her prerogatives.
"For the CEO of Hell to say something like that about a human... Lucifer's really in for the guy. As an awesome friend, shouldn't I be stepping back and supporting her? But... a handsome woman like me deserves a handsome boyfriend, right? The guy went through hell and, frankly, a pretty wicked puzzle to bring me here, so he obviously wants me bad. Also, he's definitely picking up what I put down, and I'm not opposed to getting a ride on his metaphorical bike, either.
... Maybe it's about time I jockey for position like a proper harem girlfriend. Now that I've had the thought, if I don't go for him, it's like I'm giving up. That isn't me at all.
It's been a while since I fought, but when the time comes, Justice doesn't back down."
After a debasing whole ten or fifteen seconds of consideration, the demon had reassured herself and put her shades back on in a practiced gesture, pointing to her own half-naked body in the mirror with both hands as she grinned broadly. "Challenge accepted!"
