Awakening.

The Lamp descended through the universal vortex, before noting that this world it was entering was... split in some manner. After a moment of assessment, it realized that it was two separate timelines. One future was a ruin, destroyed by one of the most evil dragons it had ever encountered, and the other was the past that some people from the ruined future were entering,, emerging at different points.

Deciding the apocalyptic version was no fun, it veered into the new timeline being created. It could have so much more fun here, and maybe alter the course of history significantly.
