Katie meets Autumn Winters

Katie was just getting settled into the mayor's office when a woman most people in the city could recognize walked in her door. Autumn Winters. It was well-known that she was at the center of the criminal underground in the city, but no attempt to arrest her had ever succeeded. She was good at making sure nothing ever stuck on her. Perhaps, Katie was about to find out why...

"I'd call for security, but I assume they won't help me, will they?" Katie asked.

"Oh, there's no need for that," Autumn replied, confidently walking towards Katie's desk, "You won't need security. I'm just here to have a talk with you, that's all. Although, you are right. You didn't replace the security detail here, did you? Oops. Bit late for that now."

"Will have to remember to do that later, then," Katie said, "What are you here for, then?"

"Oh, I did say it was a bit late for that, didn't I?" Autumn grinned at Katie, in a way that worried her, "There are other things you didn't replace, too. Like the computer system."

Katie's eyes glanced towards the computer screen on her desk, before Autumn's voice spoke out.

"Are you ready to be a good mayor for me?"
