Autumn and I Get Cuffed

The 6 cards were flipped over again. This time I wasn’t the lucky one. That distinction went to Sasha with a Queen. No this time I came in last. Both Autumn and I had threes.

“Oooo I’ve got a good one. Stand up!” Sasha instructed. Autumn and I complied as we watched Sasha go over to her purse. I heard the shuffling of items inside the large back until she stood and made her way back over to the table. In her hand hanging off one finger were two pairs of handcuffs with purple fuzzy coverings.

“Why do you have two sets of handcuffs in your purse?” Leo asked. I had the same question though I could piece together the answer in my head.

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” The blonde winked as she came to me first.

“I dare you both to play the game from here forward with your hands cuffed behind your back.” I felt the fuzzy items click into place.

“The only way to take them off…” she started to cuff Autumn, “is to win the a round with the high card.”

“I see how it is. Put the one black person at the table in cuffs huh.” Autumn said with fake anger.

“Oh sweetie if I know you aren’t a stranger to these cuffs. Remember you asked to borrow them last month.” The group ooo’ed at the reveal.

“Yeah. And I wasn’t the one wearing them.” She fired back as we both sat down awkwardly with our hands now bound behind our back.
