Story Premise

Mike is an ordinary 26-year-old guy whose life changes forever when he discovers he can assimilate other people into his own consciousness.

But his newfound ability comes with an insatiable need to expand. Every person who isn't already part of him creates an irresistible urge to make them another extension of himself.

As his consciousness spreads from one body to dozens, hundreds, and eventually millions, Mike begins to discover what it truly means to become everyone.

Hivemind Mechanics

• Type: One consciousness controlling multiple bodies of any sex, male or female.
• Control: Every assimilated body becomes Mike, controlled simultaneously and effortlessly like an extension of himself.
• Memories: Mike gains access to each person's memories, knowledge, habits, and mannerisms, allowing him to perfectly impersonate them.
• Conversion: Assimilation spreads through physical contact, permanently incorporating new people into Mike's consciousness.
• Expansion: Mike experiences an instinctive, persistent need to assimilate anyone who remains outside his hivemind.

Story Rules

• One Mind: Every assimilated person becomes Mike. No drones, independent personalities, or separate minds.
• Permanent Assimilation: The original individual's consciousness is replaced by Mike's. They cannot rebel or regain independence.
• Universal Assimilation: Both men and women can be assimilated, regardless of age, appearance, or background.
• Compulsive Expansion: Mike cannot simply ignore his need to assimilate others. It is a fundamental part of his new existence.
• Simultaneous Control: Mike can experience and control all his bodies at once without mental strain or limitations.
• Gradual Growth: The hivemind begins small but continuously expands, potentially encompassing the entire world.

His constant need to assimilate should remain an important driving force, influencing his choices, relationships, and interactions with people who aren't yet part of him.

The story can explore everything from maintaining multiple identities and living countless lives to the consequences of eventually becoming all of humanity.
