Author's notes/Writers guidelines.

So I thought I would offer some background to this story. This is my own take on A High school Fantasy written by Sim8425 and first published on Chyoo back in 2003. The original story can be found here. https://chyoa.com/story/Highschool-Fantasy.728 . I wrote for A High school fantasy off and on for about ten years until I moved on from writing for Chyoo. I am now writing under a new ID but for anyone who was around in the legacy days it might be fairly apparent who I am.

My reason for writing a new take on it. One, the perspective is now third person in comparison to the originals second. Two, I feel that with the rise of social media, tiktok, onlyfans, cosplay etc. offer a lot of new story opportunities for a story set in a high school..

I have made changes to the original. Christine is no longer twenty and I've changed her age to forty-five. A criticism of the original was that the Dan and his sisters being adopted by a woman the same age as them didn't really make any sense so I gave Christine was seemed like a more appropriate age.

I have also amalgamated Britney & Becky into a single character. Largely because I couldn't think of a story idea for Britney the younger sister and I'm not really interested in exploring sexual story ideas involving Dan getting together with his adopted mother and sister. I do have storyline ideas for both but it will take sometime before I get there.

I also dropped Dan's Everyman status and while It never comes up in the introduction post the family surname is McNamara. The original was McDohl which was just a Suikoden reference. That I may have been partially responsible for. Dan now has an actual physical description and more of an actual personality which tends to mostly be sarcastic/cynic/stoner

Randy is also now a more prominent character but I've changed him to being the local drug dealer rather than the frat bro persona he had in the original story.

Emma is an entirely new character and generally I felt that Dan & Randy needed a straight man or woman I suppose, to round out their interactions.

I am slowly building up a cast of characters and adding more story options.

On to writer's guidelines.

My general preference if you are wanting to add a chapter it needs to be a minimum of a thousand words. I personally prefer longer posts rather than shorter ones. Please keep characters consistent and I can add images to a cast list when I publish one.
