Author's Notes

The way I wanted to plan this story is that you can choose if you want the princess (the player) to remain as pure (of heart, not directly pure of bodily matters) (PURITY), or if you want her to be more decisive in your actions in an almost rude way (BRASHNESS). But too little, or too much of either one of those and you might not be the one in control of the realm (and maybe of yourself) anymore. Both will start at a value of 50% and either increase or decrease depending on certain actions you take.

Maybe later on you will also have to keep your family's dynasty in mind if you want to succeed (from having to find a matrillineal marriage) or people will consider your children to be from a different noble family, or even a new one if you fail and the father is a commoner. Although people will probably not like that anyways, at least the nobles in your realm likely might not.

Also I really wanted to write a story like this myself, because I always felt other stories (similar to this one) kindof a bit lacking in terms of readability... As in there's always usually multiple branches that each have their own singular direction, which will turn into a wide open number of unfinished chapters, and after having read them once there usually isn't much for you to get back to re-read them. And also where the choices you make don't really have any negative(or positive) consequence, besides changing which story you get to read.

So I really hope that you people reading this will still enjoy my own very bad bad writing. Also if there's people wanting to chime in, or participate on the main storyline/game part, just feel free to drop me a pm. As because after I'm done with what I had planned, I will likely change writing your own submissions to open anyways. Also note: I chose the 1st person writing style because I wanted the story to feel more personal and letting it tell itself, instead of me (as the writer) recounting it to the reader as a lot of other stories seem to do (like 'You grab your sword and you swing it at the enemy') Not sure if it is going to work out that well so far though. :/
