Author's Note

Hello, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to introduce a new project I've been working on: 1000 Ways to Ruin a Wife.

Despite the title, this is not a single ongoing story. Instead, it will be an anthology centered around a married couple named Jon and Brandi. Each entry will be a separate, self-contained story exploring different situations, characters, temptations, schemes, and disasters that find their way into the couple's lives.

Some stories may be funny. Some may be dark. Some may be romantic, frustrating, ridiculous, or downright cruel. The one thing they will all have in common is Jon and Brandi finding themselves in situations that spiral far beyond what they originally intended.

Unlike my Choose Your Own Adventure stories, these will be traditional, non-interactive short stories. That gives me an opportunity to experiment with ideas, scenarios, and themes that don't really fit into the Jezebel James universe or some of my larger projects. Quite frankly, it also gives me a place to scratch an itch and write some shorter pieces whenever inspiration strikes.

As for the title, no, I am absolutely not guaranteeing that I will ever reach one thousand stories. If I somehow manage it, fantastic. If I only make it to ten, fifty, or a hundred, that's fine too. The title is more about the spirit of the project than a contractual obligation.

As always, I would love to hear your ideas. If you have concepts for shorter stories, interesting situations, unusual villains, or simply scenarios you'd like to see Jon and Brandi stumble into, feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly. Some of my favorite ideas have come from reader suggestions.
