Whose story will we follow today?
Aubrey, the careless girl you met in the library
One of my favorite past times is to explore my college campus. I always find new rooms or study areas, that only a select few people know about. During one of my exploring sessions, I found a conference room tucked away behind some offices I've never seen used. The sign outside said it was available to the public when there weren't any scheduled meetings. Since then, I always found myself coming back.
One day, I decided I would wait there for the one hour period between my classes. Opening the door, however, I met the gaze of a very pretty girl -- both of us were seemingly shocked to see another face here. She had strawberry blond hair, soft, pale skin, and brown eyes that accentuated her hair. Combined with the white, summer dress she wore, she had an ethereal presence. The red hair, brown eyes, and summer dress made her look like the goddess of Autumn.
I figured it would be extremely awkward to leave, so I found a separate table and sat down in a chair facing away from her. Pulling out my computer, I open some code I've been working on for a school project and tried to figure out something I could do. Just a minute later, however, her computer suddenly blared out music, before quickly being turned off.
"Sorry", she quickly apologized. I turned around trying to make a reassuring face. "No worries," I said. "I really like that artist. I listen to a lot of her music. She seemed excited, wanting to talk to me about her favoritie artist. As a single 20 year old, I was excited to talk to a girl this pretty, so I did. We talked about music, school, where we were from. Before I realized it, my class was about to start. I sat there in contemplation wondering whether I should stay or go.
"Do you need to go to a class?", she asked recognizing this.
