Attempt to stop the Flower monster

Defender decided that there was no time to waste. She sprinted towards the monster. "Hold it right there!" She yelled, the Flower monster seemed to hear her and turned around to face her. It swung one of it's tredinals at her which the heroine leaped over. As she rolled back into a standing position, another tredinal was already coming down toward her. She rolled out of the way just as the tredinal slammed into the ground. Thinking quickly, Defender grabbed hold of the tredinal and actually managed to keep it from pulling away. "Ha! Got you." She said confidently. That confidence was short live however as the tredinal eventually lifted up with Defender still hanging on to it. It lifted the heroine into the air and brought lowered her in front of it's main blosum. A yellow powder suddenly exploded out of the pedals and right into the heroines face. Almost immeditly, the heroine felt herself grow sleepy. Her vision began to blur as she lost her grip on the tredinal and plummeted to the ground.

She landed with a thud but wasn't injured due to the magic powers of the belt protecting her from the impact. She was still conscious as she lay there on the ground but she was out of it. She was trying to fight the effects of the powder but it was loosing battle. She fleet something wrap around her wrist and lift her off the ground and carry her away. When she came to a rest, she heard a voice. "Well, this is certainly more than I was expecting." After that she passed out.

When Defender came too, her situation became very clear. She was in a dark room and was hanging by her wrist, which where bound together. She knew she was hanging because she could feel all her weight on her wriest as well as the fact that there was nothing beneth her feet. As for the ropes, they appeared to be nothing more normal ropes which typically she would be able to break with her augmented strength but despite her attempts to snap them, they held tight.

"Hmmm. It seems our catch of the day is awake." A voice said followed by the lights coming one. As Defender's eyes adjusted to the sudden change in light, the voice continued. "I was expecting to obtain a few more plants needed for my experiments. I was not expecting for the lovely defender to fall into my clutches." Defender peered through the light and came upon a strange man standing on a cat walk. He was strange looking man. His skin was light green and his hair was thick like grass. He was wearing what appeared to be a purple suit, not unlike what the Joker would wear. Despite the strange appearence, Defender couldn't help admit that he was handsome. In a strange, alien exotic looking way. "Who are you? What is the meaning of this?" THe man took a began to walk around the catwalk. "My name is Dr. Glen Green but you make call me Green Thumb." "Green Thumb? That's the name you are going with?" "I have no shame in my name. I'd suggest you not make jokes right now Defender. After all, I do decide your fate." Defender rolled her eyes. "Oh no, another crimenal has me strung up and thinks they have me at their mercy." Green Thumb Snickered. "Don't suppose you've peeked below you since those lights have come on have you?"

Defender looked down and suddenly realized the postion she was in. Green Thumb had hung her over what appeared to be a feeding pit. Only this pit was full of what appeared to be giant venus fly traps. Big ones that could easily swallow her up if they got ahold of her. "Let me guess, feeding time." Green Thumb chuckled. "Very perceptive my dear." "Not my first rodeo. Some guys tried feeding me to the lions once." "I think you'll find that my Venus People Traps are a bit more dangerous than some pathetic mammal." "And I'm guessing there is some reason you didn't lower me down while I was out." "You truely are beauty and brains Defender. I thought I'd give you a choice. Choice one, you fertalize my plants." "That one I figured, what's the second choice?" "You join me and rule beside me as my queen." "Hmmmm. Tempting offer but I think I'll pass." "Shame. Well, it was pleasure meeting your dear Defender." He then pulled a remote out from his jacket and pussed a button. Defender looked up as she heard a machine come to life above her. She then found herself slowly being lowered into the pit. "At least you will make a sweet treat for my plants." He then pulled a rose from his jacket and blew the pedetts towards the helpless heroine before walking away.
