Attack the wood elf

Figuring that you shouldn't turn your back on a man armed with throwing spears... you quickly charge the wood elf. He shouts in anger as he tosses his spears at you, quickly deflected by your shield. His look of anger turns to fear as he draws his short sword... apparently close quarters fighting not being his strong suit.

You quickly swing your sword downwards towards his neck, but he blocks it with his short sword. Of course in his inexperience he keeps his eyes off your shield, enabling you to drive it into his side. The Elf coughs as the wind is knocked out of him. You follow up the blow with another to his face, knocking him to the ground, his short sword falling to the side.

As he tries to crawl away you remember how little mercy he showed to the prisoners... and decide to treat him the same. As the crowd roars, you finish him with a final blow.

"A most disappointing performance by the elf... and the Queen's champion shows no mercy!" The announcer shouts as the crowd cheers you on.

You quickly turn to face the dwarf who has slowed in his charge, unnerved by how quickly you dispatched the elf. You look around and see the Large Orc battling the dark skinned man and the Orcish woman... giving you a clear shot at the dwarf.

He lunges forward, driving his axe towards your shield with a loud cry. You duck to the side, angling your shield so his blow glances off to the side, trading blows until he knocks you on your back with a heavy blow to the chest with his axe handle.

Raising his axe to finish you, you quickly roll aside and cut at his legs, bringing him to his knees. To the delight of the crowd, you rise to your feet and finish him with a quick and powerful strike to the head.

You turn to face the large Orc, the young Orcish woman laying on the ground in pain as the dark skinned man still fights bravely against the orc, the reach of his spear combined with his agility keeping him alive.

You wonder if you should join in the fight with the male Orc or finish off the weakened female Orc...?
