Attack first, ask questions later.

Never take anything for granted, especially if you see an elemental fire-woman who can probably engulf a person in flames, but unlike her, they won't be left standing.

"I'm going to attack, can you put a water ring around me or something to down the fire if she decides to throw flames at me?" you ask, pulling yourself and the sorcerer closer to the edge of the cavernous tunnels.

Maxius frowns, a little confused. "That isn't possible - I have no such magic like that. Fire is really my only secondary specialty. Plus, even if I knew how to use water-based magic, do you know how difficult it is to control water? It's heavier than fire and also...uph!"

You stop his pretty mouth with your hand, not in the mood for more of his lessons.

"Fine, I'll just attack by myself," you decide, letting go of his mouth; but before you could focus your ki into your legs to sprint towards the elemental, the sorcerer places a hand on your shoulder.

"Wait," he pleads, genuinely confused, "Why are we attacking? The elemental ahead may be friendly! After all, it looks different from a typical summoned elemental."

You raised your eyebrows towards him in disbelief. "No, that's precisely the reason we shouldn't take any chances. If it is truly friendly, then it will say something."

Maxius sighs, unable to refute your logic. "Ah...but it'll be such a shame. With my refined senses and sight, I can see that elemental is quite the beauty."

You narrow your eyes toward the unbelievable words of your companion and you question why you ever agreed to have him tag along.

"Well, if you are so awestruck with the creature, why don't you go ahead and court the elemental, Maxius. I'm sure she'll give you a 'warm' welcome!" you mock.

The sorcerer seems to slightly grow hesitant from the idea. He waves his hands in denial.

"N-no, you misunderstand Araatris. I am not against your logic as that is the best course of action considering, but I'm simply fascinated with the creature and it isn't because it is in the form of a woman..."

He grins. "...besides, I'm more fascinated with you and your way with words."

"Don't make me punch you," you threatened flatly.

"N-noted," Maxius smiles nervously and backs away with his hands up.

Rolling your eyes, you focus on channeling your ki into your legs. Taking a deep breath, you run forward, speeding across the cold rocky floor which gradually turns warmer as you approached the elemental.
