Atlantean meeting.

First thing I ended up doing? Being asked to help answer the call to save those on the sub. I had to decline however as I simply couldn't do anything to really help in an underwater environment. They accepted my reasoning though they did say they'd keep me informed as to what happens. Following that I got a message from Shiva and Jade, apparently Shiva had some missions to handle and Jade would be training along with her until they could return. Shiva also explained that she had spoken to Talia about the mission I'd gotten and the offer I'd made in such an honest manner, apparently Talia would be meeting with me soon in order to discuss exactly HOW I would make use of Shiva's abilities and experience.

Thankfully that would be easy to answer, I already had a rough idea of how to explain what I could of my future plans to her when she arrived. Before she could I was contacted by Wonder Woman who explained what had happened with the ship. Shortly after that a news story came up of the King of Atlantis showing up at a World Assembly... Well fuck...

Needless to say I had to meet up with them at the hospital, just in time to see Batman explaining the treatment to help Aquaman's recovery. Not long after that he woke up. The idea to trick the person trying to kill him was pitched and I started to set up my Summons all over the place, especially setting up Wind and Dark elementals outside, keeping them hidden so I could keep an eye out for where the attacker would show up next. Aquaman wasn't too happy about staying here, but Green Lantern tried to keep him in the room. I cut in before Aquaman could say or do anything in response. "Hang on! I think we caught him. Here I'll show you. Word of caution this might be a bit disorienting at first." With that I carefully used a new ability my leveling up had allowed, one that let me show Aquaman what my summons were seeing. I was surprised to see Deadshot of all people had been the one trying to kill Aquaman, but it didn't take long for us to see HOW the mercenary was being paid. "Spanish doubloons? That's well preserved for gold that's likely been sunk in the ocean for a long time. Aquaman? I know you don't have much reason to trust us, but could it be that someone back in Atlantis could have order this attack? Is there ANYONE at all that might have even the slightest chance of turning on you?" He refused to answer, instead spinning around and knocking Lantern out before swinging at me as well. My summons pulled me out of the way even as he turned and left without another word.

Waking up Lantern didn't take long, but letting the others know that there was a potential coup about to take place in Atlantis, likely by someone that WANTED a war with the surface wasn't fun either. This time I had to join them as we headed for the ship and eventually were going underwater towards Atlantis. It didn't take long for us to get attacked and captured though... While we had machines attached to our heads to stop us from using our powers or focusing I noticed something, it wasn't affecting me. First thing I did? Creating wind Elemental's that made air pockets around each of our heads so we could continue breathing. I sent a NEW type of Elemental I'd gained to follow the one called Orm.

New Elemental Summons unlocked! Abysstide Elemental! Through combining Water and Dark you have access to this new Elemental Summon. The rage and fury of the deep is now yours to call on. Congrats on your first HYBRID ELEMENTAL!

The Abysstide elementals were following Orm alright, right to where Aquaman was along with his stolen son. I watched through their eyes as he attempted to leave them to die in the Lava, Orm leaving right away, so certain of victory. My elementals moved in, lifting the stone the father and child were trapped on up, out and to safety, before finally helping to free Aquaman himself. They followed him as he returned with his child back to Atlantis. Meanwhile the others were helping to bring down any guards that attacked, wonder Woman was nice enough to even help keep me protected so I could keep them informed of what was happening. Mera was furious to hear what Orm had done, but immensely happy when her husband and child returned through the doors.

Shortly after that we found out what Orm was planning to do, that he was trying to melt the polar ice caps to flood the surface world. We all made our way to the pole in order to stop Orm, Aquaman seemed determined to handle this on his own until Superman reminded him that this affects surface dwellers as well. His only request was that we stay out of his way. I returned back to the surface, having a few other things to deal with. Aside from the business that is.

My system had warned me when we came under attack, that the Atlantian's all ranged from level 200 to Aquaman's 350, with only Orm being Level 290. It also informed me that since I'd saved Aquaman from losing his hand, he had NOT lost 100 LEVELS like he would've without my summons intervening. I realized that I wasn't NEARLY leveled up enough to keep fighting with the League at this rate. I would need to improve FAST. Training as seldomly as I have been wasn't cutting it, I would need to start working on the backup plan Ultron had devised. Thankfully the others were able to put a stop to Orm and the machine quite easily, though Lantern wasn't happy with me for leaving when I had. There wasn't anything I could have really done to help in that situation... The very next morning began with a message from Ultron.
