Athela, The Eye of Truth
Athela is the deity of truth and of learning. Her priesthood form a confederacy across the Central Sea and its environs, dedicated to the preservation and propagation of knowledge. Her priests build and maintain archives, study the natural world, and preserve the truths of history even when kings and rulers would wish to suppress them.
Athela is depicted as a tall woman with jet-black skin, clad in a snow-white robe and often carrying a quill and tablet.
