Chapter 4 by ruby-nyan ruby-nyan

John finds out about ags syndrome

At the hospital

Roughly 30 minutes after being called, John arrives at the hospital. Hurriedly he parks his car and rushes into the hospital.

As John enters the hospital he goes straight to the helpdesk to ask where he can find his wife. The cleric there points him to a spacious area used as waiting room for special needs patients and their caretakers. The doctor will be there shortly to explain the situation for you she says as she points out a place to sit.

As John sits down in the waiting area. His mind races. Did she have an accident? Or maybe she was just feeling sick?

Not long after sitting down a tall man in a white doctors uniform approaches John.

Mr black? John nods. My name is doctor Will lake . Thank you for coming so quickly. Please follow me so we may talk in private.

As John stands up he shakes hands with Dr lake. And follows him to a small office used for checkups .

Mr black.. opens Dr lake . I have to inform you that your wife Dana black has been diagnosed with an acute form of the AGS syndrome. Meaning she will need you to guide her as her legal guardian from now on.

Puzzled John looks at the doctor, what is AGS exactly? I have never heard of it before says John. Looking a bit nervous to the doctor.

AGS is a mental disorder. It stands for absolute gullibility syndrome. It's a mental disorder that sets on almost instantly. And makes the afflicted unable to question anything said to them. Regardless of if it makes sense to anyone else. The patient will never be able to tell something is not correct. Even going as far as to believe what their told and believing they are hallucinating if they feel like it is not correct. If not cared for correctly the people afflicted can be dangerous to themselves and others. Usually patients with this decrease are admitted to a special ward, but it is currently full and we are unable to provide that care.

So whatever anyone tells her she will believe it correct without questions? Asks john still massively confused. That is correct. Even 2 people saying 2 things polar opposite of each other she would both believe true even if it isn't possible.

It would be a big risk for your wife to be allowed to go unchecked as she could well be tricked or made to do things either illegal, immorral or even very dangerous. Or all of those things. Without knowing what is right or wrong. Just by being told so.

John goes to see his wife
