At the doctor’s

Brooke waited in the waiting room for her regular physical. She had just switched from the pediatrician and was seeing a new doctor in a new facility.

“Brooke Mendez, follow me,” the nurse said as she poked her head out.

Brooke nodded and followed behind. The nurse took her to a little alcove where the vitals were taken. “Take off your shoes,” the nurse said.

Brooke obeyed and stood against the wall as tall as she could stand. The nurse took her height and jotted it down. “4’10”,” the nurse said.

Brooke blushed. She had never made it over 5’ and was a bit insecure about her petite height which is why she wore heels almost all the time.

She then stood on the scale. “90 lbs,” the nurse read.

They then went through the blood pressure, pulse, hearing, and vision which were all normal and then headed for the doctor’s office.

Brooke noticed the nurse hadn’t taken her temperature but didn’t say anything.

“Please strip to your underwear, leave your bra on for now. There’s a gown for you to change into leave the back open,” the nurse instructed. “Oh and put on the hospital socks too.”

Brooke nodded and stripped. She blushed as she had ended up with little options for underwear as she had on a pair of her old My Little Pony undies.

Soon there was a knock on the door as Brooke sat on the exam table which had stirrups at the end as well.

“Come on in,” Brooke said wondering who exactly her doctor was.
