So does Condiment wizard die a second time?
At first no
The Condiment wizard used everything he had now that he knew he was in actual danger of death. He poured the sauerkraut on non-stop, turning the immediate area around him into a garden from hell as an army of plants grew and attacked Swamp Thing with relentless ferocity. Though they barely seemed to slow Swamp Thing down as his hands got dangerously close to wrapping around Condiment Wizard's throat.
He used others condiment spells that he had he poured out ketchup and mustard in thick streams, forming a ball and turning it into a rapidly forming red and yellow cloud above him. He knew he needed more time to get his cloud going and so pulled out his special altar wand and began firing magical tartar sauce all around him in hope. That hope was answered as dozens of fish people born from the tartar sauce and dead fish from an old dried-up river charged at Swamp Thing, getting the Condiment wizard the necessary breathing room.
The dryads, of course, were closing in and eager to intervene. Swamp Thing took a second to glance at them and waved his hands in their general direction before getting back to closing in on Condiment Wizard. That one wave changed the math as all the nearby trees came to life and began attacking the dryads, forcing them to stop their charge and deal with the monster trees.
The fishman, a mix of regular fish and ancient armored fish of a lost edge, charged with reckless abandon and for the red swamp thing to step back. Condiment Wizard had built up all he required, and so red lighting was blasted at Swamp Thing as well as yellow hail. Swamp Thing screamed as the red lightning went through him, though he didn't seem to be affected by the yellow hail.
The Condiment wizard got a happy look on his face as he realized the tide was turning. He poured all his might into his red lighting. The magical electrical attack caused Swamp Thing to pause for a few moments as the red lighting traveled. The fisherman and thistle Pterodactyls took advantage of this short paralysis striking the swamp thing when he couldn't dodge or counter.
Though this upper hand was quickly countered as the bat family ran down from the sky like confetti. Suddenly, once again, Condiment Wizard was on the back foot as his minions were pushed back by the Bat Family. Red Hood and his red dryad were in a shooting match as he traded bullets for her razor-sharp thorns. Yellow Dryad was in a match with Nightwing, trying to get him with her pollen, but he had pulled a special breathing mask out, and so Yellow Dryad found herself in a fistfight she was ill-suited for.
The white dryad wasn't having any better luck, as she and her naked clones were now facing a two-front fight. On one side were the trees; Swamp Thing had turned against them. On the other were Red Robin and the latest Robin. Spoiler and Batgirl weren't seen, as they were probably still dealing with the thistle Pterodactyls in Gotham. So that left Batman helping Swamp Thing close in on Condiment Wizard.
This was the worst situation for Condiment Wizard, as he could use his dark condiment magic to either keep Batman at bay or overwhelm Swamp Thing; he couldn't do both. The two took full advantage of this, taking back the space the condiment wizard had gained. He was having to switch between targets just to get a few more seconds of life, but in the end it wasn't enough, and Swamp Thing got close enough as Condiment Wizard was focusing his spells on Batman.
The attack was quick and sudden. Swamp Thing at close range merely pointed his finger at Condiment Wizard's chest. This fur, most people wouldn't do anything, but Swamp Thing had the ability to grow to the size of a giant or shrink to the size of single cells. So stretching his finger across a small distance rapidly was no challenge. One second, Condiment Wizard was keeping Batman at bay with a combination of mustard hail and ketchup lightning; the next, he had Swamp Thing's finger where his gear should be.
Batman roared, "Noooo!" At the top of his lungs, as he had no intention to murder any villain and hadn't been there when Swamp Thing had made his intent clear. Swamp Thing looked at Batman, who was charging straight at him. He gave him a sad look that threw Batman off.
"I'm sorry the parliament of trees can never rise again." Swamp Thing said in a sad but certain voice, then proceeded to disappear by going into the nearby trees. Condiment Wizards' dryads had mixed responses to his death; his red dryad let out a roar of rage, and his white dryad matched, sending unending hoards to tear the Bat Family apart. The yellow dryad ran for the body to hold it in her arms and deny his death.
Though before the yellow dryad could reach him and while the rest of the bat family was moving to counter the onslaught from the other two dryads, a portal opened up directly underneath the condiment wizard. His body went down it before anyone could intervene, and he was gone. This drove the yellow dryad into a frenzy, causing her to join the others in attacking the bat family. The only thought of the bat families at this particular moment was wondering what the hell was going on.
