Asta

The hum of the Herta Space Station filled the air as Silver Wolf overlooked the central atrium. Her translucent form shimmered faintly against the dim blue glow of the station's artificial lighting. This was it—the perfect disguise for her mission. Asta. chief researcher of this station. Rich, smart, and have high level access, she is the perfect target.

Tracking Asta had been a trivial task. The Herta Space Station was a nexus of activity, but the researcher’s routine was predictable: check the observational decks, oversee experiments, then grab a break at the cafeteria. Tonight, she was working late, wandering through the quiet halls. Alone.

SiW slipped down silently, trailing Asta through a dimly lit corridor. The woman was humming a jaunty tune under her breath, her tablet flickering with lines of data. The glow reflected in her wide, curious eyes as she scrolled through updates.

Silver Wolf wasted no time, her physical form materialising as she slung her cannon aiming directly behind Asta, firing off a bright blue glitchy ball, hitting her from behind. Asta froze mid-smile, her body locking in place, glitching unnaturally. Her vibrant hair shimmered like static, her limbs flickering between solidity and transparency, her tablet dropping onto the ground.

Activating her hack, her form shimmered and faded like mist, as she phased into Asta's body. The sensation was like slipping into a warm suit of armor—awkward at first, then snug, perfectly fitting.

Asta’s body jerked as it unfroze, gasping sharply. Her wide eyes flickered momentarily with confusion before narrowing. A sly smile crept across her lips.

“Easier than expected,” Silver Wolf muttered, running a hand through her new hair. She straightened her posture, adjusting to Asta’s smaller frame. Her form was quite...petite in some sense, but it didn't really matter right now. She smoothened out her uniform, now slightly dishevelled from earlier.

She picked up the fallen tablet, scanning its contents. “Looks like I’ve got access to everything now,” she mused, her lips curling into a smirk. "Time to take this station for a spin."

With a confident stride, Silver Wolf—now Asta—headed down the corridor, blending seamlessly into the station’s lifeblood. No one would suspect a thing. Not yet.
