Assignment with Juliet

Another day another class.

Kyle listened to the teacher lecture on some topic while scribbling some notes. He looked the board again before looking down scribbling some more notes.

He’s currently in social studies class which is a class that he enjoyed and he had scored good grades despite he didn’t think himself as an excellent student but more of an average.

Kyle glanced at his watch. Classes it’s almost finishing and he is trying his best to not fall asleep wanted to went back to his room and take a nap. He sighed wishing that they could get more days off.

“That’s it for today.” The teacher announced. “Now, there’s a new assignment that requires two students to work together.”

“A new assignment? Great.” Kyle muttered under his breath somewhat irritated. He looked around and everyone’s reaction was somewhat similar to his.

It’s been a busy week as Mr Jefferson has announced some kind of photography contest called the “Everyday Heroes” consisting that requires everyone to join and right now another new assignment.

“At least we had plenty of time for this assignment.” He sighed.

His eyes scanned around until it reaches Juliet. Juliet is wearing her usual outfit consists of a black leather jacket over a white low cut shirt showing her cleavage, a pink short skirt, a pair of brown boots and finally, her light brown hair tied to a bun. Juliet still has her eyes glueing towards the front at the teacher explaining their new assignment which is some sort of presentation while her legs were crossed.

Finally the teacher announced the two students that will be working together one by one until he finally called his name out.

“Kyle, you and Juliet will be working together for this assignment.” He said before turning to the others. “That is it for now. Any questions?”

The room felt silent. Kyle looked at Juliet. He couldn’t believe what just happened.

“Now this is truly awkward.” Kyle said to himself recalling what happened previously when she accidentally saw him having a fivesome with his lovers.

“Kyle?” Juliet froze. She turned around and her eyes met Kyle’s face. Kyle saw her face immediately turning away. She did the same thing too. Kyle stretched his arms and yawned. He got up and said. “Well let’s get to work.” He grabbed his belongings from his table and walked towards Juliet.

“Hey Juliet.” He greeted. Juliet was still immersed in her own thoughts.

“Juliet?” Kyle said again but still no response.

Kyle slammed his hand on the table creating a loud bang causing Juliet’s body to jolt as she snapped back to reality. She shook her head frantically looking around until her eyes meet his.

“Works every damn time.” Kyle chuckled.

“Hey!” The teacher said.

“Sorry.”

“Oh hi-hi Kyle.” Juliet stammered.

“Hey Juliet, I was thinking if you would like to discuss further about our assignment.” Kyle said trying to act as normal as he could.

“Sure, sure, let me grab my things first.” Juliet grabbed her books and belongings. She turned to Kyle again. “Shall we go?”

The two left the classroom discussing a bit of their upcoming assignment while trying to act as normal as possible until they encountered Max and Kate.

“Kyle.” Max called out happily.

“My sweethearts!” Kyle embraced both girls happily.

“Hi Max, hi Kate.” Juliet greeted smiling yet curious. Is Kyle dating both girls or are they just really good friends? Then she recalled the times when she saw him leaving Max or Kate’s room and that night when she spotted Chloe and Dana too.

“Hey Juliet.” Kate said.

“That can’t be.” Juliet thought to herself. “Are they…”

“I see both you and Juliet were together.” Max grinned looking at Juliet standing next to her lover. Juliet blushed

“Well we just got paired up for some assignment together.” Kyle explained.

“Well if that’s the case, would you two like to join us for tea and hang out together?” Kate asked wiggled her eyebrows looking at both of them. Her eyes slowly turned toward Juliet and she blushed.

“Oh I’m really sorry Kitty.” Kyle said sadly looking down. “I really wish I could spend some time with both of you but we need to start on our assignment immediately.”

“Aww my poor baby.” Max held both of his hands.

“I know.” Kyle sighed. “It’s been really busy week.”

“It’s alright, we can spend time together once you’re finished.” Kate cheered him up holding his hand too.

“I guess we’ll see you later then.” Max said. She leaned in and gave two pecks on his cheeks and suddenly whispered in his ear. “Go get her handsome, make her yours.

Kyle blushed a little.

Juliet noticed Max giggling as she pulled away from Kyle, she also noticed that Kate was giving her a weird grin too. Her face turned increasingly red.

Kate leaned in giving Kyle a peck on his lips. “You had my blessings too.” She whispered pulling away.

The two girls left once again leaving Kyle and a Slightly puzzled Juliet.

“So Juliet, should we discuss more at the library?”

“Sure, why not.” Juliet said awkwardly, her voice slightly shaken.

The two walked towards the library. Both Kyle and Juliet couldn’t believe that they will spent the next few hours perhaps even the entire week together.

They can’t wait to see how this would take them.
